Leadership Learning Academy is a tuition-free public charter elementary school. We offer a research-based model to challenge students to become confident learners and leaders.
LLA serves students in Kindergarten through 6th Grade on campuses in Layton and Ogden. We enroll students regardless of enrollment boundaries and will serves students of all income levels, cultural backgrounds, and academic abilities.
The mission of Leadership Learning Academy is to provide the unique, innovative teaching model to help achieve a high degree of academic success while developing problem solving skills, independent learners, and future leaders in all our students.
Leadership Learning Academy uses an innovative and unique model to challenge our students to be confident and independent learners. Our students will learn to inspire others, achieve high academic success, and become personally accountable for themselves and their education; thus helping to lead our future.
The Leadership Learning Academy mascot is the Flyers.
The Layton Campus colors are crimson, silver, and charcoal. The Ogden Campus colors are navy, silver, and charcoal.
Many LLA students are from the community surrounding Hill Air Force Base, which exemplifies leadership and provides worldwide engineering and logistics management. In recognition of our community, we want our students to excel higher.
Leadership Learning Academy was approved by the Utah State Charter School Board and the Utah State Board of Education in February 2012. The Charter Application describes LLA’s unique method of instruction and the vision of the school. Please note, the policies and bylaws contained in LLA’s original charter application are subject to change by the governing board. Leadership Learning Academy has locations in Layton and Ogden. The schools are easily accessible to many surrounding communities and can accept any Utah student. Our facilities are built to help foster a positive learning environment.
